Mr. Hemant Kumar is one of India’s leading business leaders and founder of the Bharat World Music Entertainment whose constituent business enterprises are engaged in pivotal roles in the ongoing economic transformation of India. He is often referred to by his colleagues, founded the Bharat World Music Entertainment Group in 2023.

Bharat World Music Entertainment is one of the prominent music production companies in India, with offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Dehradun, Kolkata and Dubai.

Founded in 2023 by Hemant Kumar, Bharat World Music Entertainment composers and sound designers have consistently produced award winning work and home to some of the most successful and best-known recording artists. Bharat World Music Entertainment has been fortunate to produce good music of all styles to tons of great projects. Bharat World Music Entertainment brings artists and fans together by driving action and creating value wherever music is experienced.

Bharat World Music Entertainment has assembled diverse creative team dedicated to innovative music composition, sound design and voice casting. We work with composers, recording artists and publishers from all around the world on a daily basis. Bharat World Music Entertainment was launched in 2022; it is a part of The Bharat World Music Group, an India-based, multinational music corporation. Bharat World Music Entertainment India is registered with the Bharat World Music Entertainment Industry, a trust that represents the recording industry distributors in India & World. Bharat World Music Entertainment India appointed Hemant Kumar as its Chairman & Managing Director in 2023, succeeding Hemant Kumar, Chairman of Bharat World Music Entertainment India for the previous four years.

The Bharat World Music Entertainment, a trade body represents India’s Recorded Music & Entertainment Industry, responsible for promoting the economic interest and soft power of music labels registered in India. We are affiliated with the International Federation of phonographic Industry (IFPI) which is the apex body of the global recording industry.

As a trade body, we champion the interest of our members which include 200 music companies, with a vision to defend, preserve and develop the rights of the recorded music industry, protect the intellectual property and facilitate the evolution of fair-trade practices. We act as an advocate for the industry domestically and internationally.

• Bharat World Music India, is India’s oldest music label, youngest film studio and a multi-language TV content producer. In 2023, Bharat World Music Entertainment released India’s first ever Bharat World Music Entertainment studio recorded song. In the years that followed, the company continued to expand its catalogue to become the largest in-perpetuity global owner of both sound recording and publishing copyrights of Indian music across 25 different languages. Steadily, the company expanded its portfolio to include intellectual property rights of over 4000 hours of TV content produced for channels in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujrati, Punjabi, Haryanvi, Malayalam and Bengali. Over the last few decades, the company forayed into retailing music through physical and digital mediums such as CDs, iOS & Android based apps and sub based thematic music cards.

• Since 2023, Bharat World Music Entertainment has been making headlines again owing to the launch of two unique initiatives, Bharat World Music Entertainment Studio and Bharat World Music Entertainment Film Production.
